DMG MORI emerged from the cooperation between the German manufacturer Gildemeister (DMG) and the Japanese manufacturer Mori Seiki. The portfolio covers CNC lathes, milling machines and machining centres up to turn-mill complete machining centres.

What to check when buying a used DMG MORI machine
- Control and software: check the control type, software version and installed options against your programming environment.
- Spindle and axes: spindle hours, run-out, geometry and positioning accuracy should be documented or verifiable on site.
- Maintenance history: service and repair records and replaced assemblies indicate the machine's condition.
- Equipment: clarify which tool magazine, pallet or loading system, coolant and chip conveyor and probing are included.
- Inspection: if possible, see the machine under power and during a test run.
